Description
Proviron Description:
Proviron (or Mesterolone) is a popular and unique oral anabolic-androgenic steroid (AAS) that has a number of varying qualities that make it a steroid like no other. It is commonly used during the cutting phase of a steroid cycle as it shares qualities with Masteron, Anavar, and Winstrol. It is an oral dihydrotestosterone (DHT) derivative that is not C 17-alpha alkylated (making it not hepatotoxic/liver toxic), but has been altered to have a methyl group added to the carbon one position.
This allows the compound to survive hepatic breakdown once ingested but decreases total bioavailability compared to other C17-aa oral steroids. Provigen has relatively low androgenic and anabolic ratings but has a few attributes that can be quite beneficial for users. It has a strong binding affinity to Sex-Hormone-Binding-Globulin (SHBG), which in turn helps increase circulating free testosterone.
This along with its strong binding affinity to androgen receptors allows the user to get more out of the other anabolic steroids used during a cycle. Provigen also works as a mild aromatase inhibitor as it binds to the aromatase enzyme, decreasing estrogenic side effects. Provigen is also used as a fertility medication, as it is quite androgenic and does not suppress gonadotropins as most other steroids do. It actually enhances sperm production and quality.
